Remuneration: gross salary depending on experience + TR + Profit-sharing + Benefits

Experience: 3 years minimum

He/she draws up the specifications by listening to the client’s problems in order to provide the appropriate solution, and mentions the specifications required to carry out the work requested, including drawings and calculations.

He/she identifies the design, drawing and calculation requirements and relies on other departments for their realization, then communicates with the certification companies to validate the technical solutions.

He/she assists the Project Manager in drawing up specifications and selecting subcontractors.

He/she advises and checks the conformity of the work throughout its completion, and gathers the information needed to draw up the technical report.

He/she is responsible for:

– updating technical ship databases,

– keep abreast of technological developments and share information with other members of the Design Office

– passing on his/her knowledge to any trainees in the Design Office.

Bilingual English-French speaking general engineer with skills in reading and writing technical instructions and producing drawings.

Strong technical knowledge to solve technical problems.

Knowledge of 3D and 2D drafting and design, using Rhino, Solidworks and Autodesk.

Good knowledge of on-board systems (mechanics, hydraulics, refrigeration, etc.).

Rigorous and reliable, you are particularly methodical and imaginative when it comes to solving problems.

You are a team player with good interpersonal skills, enabling you to cooperate effectively with all internal and external players.

You are open-minded and educational when explaining technical choices and their implementation.
