Responsibilities

As a Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention, you will promote safe work practices aligned with corporate policies in occupational health and safety, as well as environmental management. Your key duties will include:

  • Integrating risk prevention and control into all company activities, decisions, and processes across organizational structures and departments.
  • Conducting risk assessments and preventive planning, implementing suitable preventive measures to control risks and mitigate hazards.
  • Supervising work on-site and conducting site visits.
  • Investigating accidents and preparing investigation reports.
  • Coordinating activities of contractors, subcontractors, and facility users, including document management and field oversight.
  • Providing recommendations and improvements to minimize risks during work execution.
  • Developing, reviewing, and suggesting improvements for internal procedures, instructions, or company regulations.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal occupational health and safety and environmental regulations, adhering to applicable technical standards.
  • Managing and periodically tracking preventive and corrective actions, verifying their effectiveness and compliance with regulations.
  • Planning, coordinating, and monitoring health surveillance measures.
  • Managing internal audits and following up on external audits.
  • Collaborating with other departments for inspections/reviews of machinery, equipment, and facilities.
  • Participating in emergency and first aid actions and managing emergency drills.
  • Coordinating and managing external safety services (SPA, private fire services, private security, etc.).
  • Collaborating on and managing site access control, analyzing, and validating related documentation.
  • Analyzing, coordinating, and tracking high-risk activities.
  • Issuing, supervising, and managing special work permits, waste management plans, and environmental control measures.
  • Providing information and training on occupational health, safety, and environmental management to company personnel according to their job roles.
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.

Education

  • University degree in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or similar.
  • Certified Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL), covering all three specialties: safety, hygiene, and ergonomics/psychosociology.
  • Extensive knowledge of occupational risk prevention laws and regulations, both national and international.
  • Additional training in environmental management, ATEX atmospheres, or similar is desirable.

  • Experience managing Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety Management Systems.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent written communication and report-writing abilities.
  • Proactive, dynamic, and motivated team player with great analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Competence in using IT tools effectively.
  • Ability to motivate individuals to change behaviors.
  • Professional-level English proficiency.
  • Valid driver’s license is desirable.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in an in-house prevention service (SPP) or external prevention service (SPA) within the industrial, construction, or similar sectors.
