Reporting to

Dry Dock Department Manager

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise the work assigned to one or more projects.
  • Plan work in order to comply with the execution deadlines assigned to each job.
  • Control costs of the work carried out.
  • Monitor and supervise the completion of the work across the different areas of the project.
  • Maintain the relationship with the client’s representative(s) during the yacht’s stay at the shipyard.
  • Responsible for the management of internal documentation and delivery dates related to the project.

  • Professional knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Ability to lead and work in a team
  • Interpersonal skills to establish a trusted relationship with the client

Professional requirements

  • Previous experience in ship mechanics would be an asset
  • Previous experience on board (chief engineer) would be an asset

Qualifications

  • Degree in Marine Technologies
  • A degree in Systems Engineering and Naval Technology would also be an advantage.
