The Technical Advisor in the Technical Office supports the choice of the technical solution to the client’s problem.

He/she communicates with other departments and certification companies to gather the information needed to draw up the specifications.

He/she assists Project Managers in carrying out the work, providing advice and checking conformity. He/she gathers the information needed to draw up the technical report.

He/she is responsible for :

– updating technical ship databases,

– keep abreast of technological developments

– passing on his/her knowledge to any trainees in the Design Office.

5 years’ successful experience as Chief Engineer on yachts over 50 m or Mechanical Engineer with at least 5 years’ experience in the naval sector (preferably yachting).

Good knowledge of onboard systems (mechanical, hydraulic, propulsion, refrigeration, etc.)

Very good technical knowledge of ship repair

Excellent professional English and French (drafting of technical manuals and production of drawings)

Rigorous, organized and methodical, you are particularly reliable and imaginative when faced with problems.

You are a team player with good interpersonal skills, enabling you to cooperate effectively with all internal and external players.

You are open-minded and pedagogical in the way you explain your choices and their implementation.
