About The Role:

You will be organized, able to work autonomously at times and have an attention to detail. You will also need to demonstrate having the confidence and professionalism to effectively liase with external and internal stakeholders. As a team player, you will be responsive, flexible, quick to learn and able to plan, prioritize and manage workloads effectively.

As the Procurement specialist, your main objective will be supporting the group procurement growth as per business needs. This will include supporting the development of exiting working partners, onboarding of new suppliers, running RFQS and RFPs, drafting and negotiating agreements and provide assistance for the supplier evaluation process.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Gather, organize and analyze data related to procurement activitiesCollaborate closely with the procurement team on various projects, supporting supplier negotiations.
  • Review commercial aspects of contracts, including payment terms, insurance, pricing and defined KPIs.
  • Provide assistance for the development of existing working partners.
  • Provide assistance for the development of MB92 products’ portfolio.
  • Procurement of goods and services. Provide assistance on tenders and/or RFQs when required by the Head of Procurement.
  • Identification of new suppliers and opportunities. Manage supplier onboarding and ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationship with suppliers, addressing any issue that may arise.
  • Utilize SAP’s Business Intelligence (BI) software to extract relevant information and generate meaningful insights.
  • Explore new opportunities for cost savings, innovation, and improved quality.
  • Perform other duties as required by line Manager.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration or Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • At least one year of relevant experience in Procurement, ideally with some experience on indirect spend (IT, Marketing, Facilities, etc..).
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Power Point)
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools (SAP Ariba, Power BI) is considered as advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Fluent English and Spanish.
