Reporting to

Interior Department Manager

Responsibilities:

To perform coordination and supervision tasks of projects assigned and required by the client under the specifications of the Interior Department Manager. The main responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the relationship with the client during the stay at the shipyard: holding regular meetings, obtaining quote approvals, managing work performed and concepts to be invoiced.
  • Requesting the necessary support from Operations, Technical, Projects, Health & Safety and other work areas during the project.
  • Selection and management of suppliers.
  • Supervision of work progress in the different trades following the defined instructions and specifications, ensuring quality standards.
  • Management of requests or suggestions from the client during the project.
  • Allocation of tasks to be invoiced in the project control file in SAP.
  • Generation and managing of project documentation.
  • Adopt a sustainable work culture (economic, legal, ethical and environmental) throughout the project.

Academic background:

  • Naval technical engineering or higher. Naval architecture or higher. Degree in design specialised in Interiors.
  • Advanced knowledge of Project Management.
  • Languages: Spanish and English professional level. Other languages: German, Dutch, French, French, Italian.

Required skills:

  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Leadership capacity in the organisation and coordination of multiple work teams.
  • Ability to analyse complex technical problems.

Required experience:

  • About 3 years of experience in a similar position in other companies in the industry.
  • Experience in Interior design studios or similar areas.
